Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder Are 'Still Friends' After Split

If you thought that Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder both attending the CW Upfronts in New York City was awkward, guess again. According to E! Online, the Vampire Diaries co-stars share no bad blood between them since they broke up last week after dating for over three years. 

"They're still friends," a source told the website. "There was no other person involved or any big fight." The source also noted that the two "still talk daily."

According to the insider, the two decided to call it quits because Dobrev wasn't quite ready to settle down as much as Somerhalder. 

Based on age alone, it does make sense. Somerhalder will be 35 later this year, while Dobrev is soon approaching 25. But age ain't nothing but a number. Whatever the reason for the split, we're just glad that they've decided to keep things civil and professional.
